You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks, and enforcing safety regulations.

This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage and be a part of a team.

To be successful in this role you would need the following attributes:
  • Be able to supervise the day to day operation of the workshop ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs
  • A positive attitude, and the ability to guide other staff.
  • Engineering experience in heavy fabrication with structural steel.
  • Experience in Fabrication and MIG Welding.
  • Must be competent in reading drawings and able to fabricate accordingly.
  • Maintain QAs for all jobs completed.
  • Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
  • New Zealand drivers licence.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
