Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Cafe Supervisor to manage our school cafe operations. You will be responsible for the efficient preparation, presentation, and sale of food and beverages, as well as managing inventory and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management: Oversee daily activities, including food preparation, heating, stocking, and serving.
Customer Service: Ensure timely, friendly service to foster a welcoming environment.
Inventory & Ordering: Manage stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and place timely orders.
Quality & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, specifically managing Auckland Food and Hygiene Certificate documentation.
Team Support: Collaborate with the Cafe Assistant to ensure a cohesive work environment.
RequirementsProven experience in a cafe or food service supervisory role.
Comprehensive understanding of the Auckland Food and Hygiene Certificate requirements and paperwork.

Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised team member to assist in our school cafe and create a positive experience for our students and staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service: Assist the Supervisor in serving customers efficiently and courteously.
Operational Support: Help prepare and stock food and beverage items as directed.
Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the cafe, including regular cleaning tasks.
Stock Management: Assist with restocking shelves and display units.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Cafe Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.
RequirementsPrior experience in a cafe or customer service environment (preferred).
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
Ability to work effectively within a team.- Prep Chef | Northcote College (position 3)
Hours: Monday – Wednesday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Role OverviewWork alongside our current Chef in a commercial kitchen environment to prepare a high-quality menu.
Key ResponsibilitiesCold Prep: Prepare fresh salads, sandwiches, and wraps.
Hot Prep: Assist with hot items, including burritos, pasta, paninis, and rice dishes.
RequirementsPrior experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
Mandatory: Ability to operate a modern convection oven and a bratt pan.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work effectively as part of a culinary team.
