Leading hand/Junior Foreman

We are looking for a **leading hand** OR **junior foreman** for work in **Mt Roskill** who is well experienced in **water reticulation** and who is looking for a good opportunity to continue to **grow their career within civil**.
Work is applying fittings, valves, laying pipes and connecting pipes to water mains.**If you are a leading hand,** you will mainly be working in the team and occasionally run crews of 1-2 people, **whereas Junior foreman** will be running crews of 4-5 people.
The work is for a major civil contractor who specialises in upgrading Auckland's pipe network.

- *$34.00 - $38.00* per hour for a junior foreman
- Training - do not need to be qualified - will put you through your water reticulation tickets
- Work is ongoing and has a variety of opportunities to grow your civil experience
- Contribute to part of Auckland's critical infrastructure upgrades
- Typical shifts are **Monday-Friday**, 7am-5pm, but must be available 7am-7pm in case of overtime (**work week can average 50-60 hours**)

- Full class 1 driver's licence minimum
- Ability to drive manual gearbox - or at least be willing to be trained
- **Either** 5 years on the ground looking after a team **OR….**
- 1 year experience as a foreman
- Willing to be hands-on with physical labour involved - not looking for a professional ute sitter
- Your own reliable transport to get to the site in **Mt Roskill**
- Pass a pre-employment drugs test
