About the Role
Are you a nurse who enjoys being on the move? Do you like looking after a diverse range of patients in a varied environment?
Transit Care Nursing is a vital part of the hospital flow process, supporting patient movement between departments and hospitals. The role requires skilled nurses who can think laterally and work autonomously in a varied, ever changing environment.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role covers both North Shore and Waitakere Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to work across both locations.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand
- Recent experience working within an Acute, Emergency or Critical Care setting
- A confident communicator and natural problem solver
- Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
