The role:

The role combines high-level leadership, direct store ownership, and cluster oversight, making it ideal for an experienced fashion Senior Store Manager, Cluster Manager, or someone with Area or Regional Support experience looking to take the next step!

You will oversee the following locations:

  • Newmarket - Direct leadership & full operational ownership
  • David Jones Newmarket - Cluster oversight & support
  • Takapuna - Cluster oversight & support
  • Albany - Cluster oversight & support
  • St Lukes - Cluster oversight & support

And be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Store Managers across these sites, while being hands-on and fully accountable for the Flagship Newmarket store - their most critical retail hub in the region!

To be considered, you will have:

  • A raw, rugged, 'get stuff done' leadership style - you must be a down to earth go getter who likes to roll up their sleeves!
  • Senior Store Manager, Area Manager or Cluster Manager experience, ideally within an apparel/fashion setting
  • A perfect blend of consultative customer service skills while also being able to work at pace
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
  • Proven background in retail operations including inventory mangement, performance management and sales analysis
  • Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail & styling
  • Confident, driven & energised outlook to retail management
