About the RoleAs part of the Duty Nurse Manager Team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Waikato Hospital Campus, plus provide assistance to Thames Hospital and our Rural Sites.
You will ensure safe, appropriate and efficient management and utilisation of resources that supports patient care and flow. If you are in search of variety – this is the position for you. The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the NZNO Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement.

About the TeamThe Duty Nurse Manager Team at Waikato are highly skilled, able to adapt to a variety of situations across a number of services.
Providing leadership out of hours and assisting to trouble shoot situations where demand at times outweighs available resources. About Hamilton Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts.
