Casual On-Call Storeperson / Driver – New Plymouth

Join our New Plymouth team! Mainstream is looking for casual on-call Storeperson/Drivers to help move, load, and unload freight safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role with flexible hours, perfect for those who enjoy working in a supportive, safety-first environment.

Why this role matters

As an on-call team member, you’ll be key to keeping our warehouse and transport operations running smoothly. You’ll be handling freight, supporting the daily operations, and helping our customers get their deliveries on time.

• Load and unload local delivery and linehaul freight
• Ensure freight is handled safely and stored correctly
• Keep the warehouse tidy and organised (clear floor policy)
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance standards
• Occasionally assist with local deliveries if required

• Valid Class 1 driver licence
• Forklift Operator Certificate
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting/moving freight
• Reliable, flexible, and a good team player
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Casual, on-call work with flexible hours
