Qualified Automotive Technician

We have a vacancy for a Qualified Automotive Technician in our Ford Service Department.

This position is permanent and full time with the opportunity to work overtime when it is available.

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Automotive Technician / 3 years or more experience.
• Current WOF AVI certification would be a strong advantage.
• Excellent understanding of Diagnosing (fault finding), repairing and servicing, and experience with diagnostic scan tools would be advantageous.
• Accuracy and quality focused with the ability to problem solve and think laterally.
• Organised, efficient, and methodical.
• Great communication skills.
• Possess a “Can Do” attitude.
• Full and clean driver's license.
• Must be currently residing within New Zealand or be a citizen of New Zealand.

Skills Required:

• The successful applicant will need to be qualified and have strong mechanical skills.
• Have a sound knowledge of Modern vehicle electrical diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
• Ford training would be an advantage but not required.
• To be able to work unsupervised.
• Strong time management skills.
• Exceptional attention on inspection sheets and general paperwork.
• Possess a customer satisfaction focused attitude and work well in a team.
• Your experience will be invaluable in assisting the development and training of our apprentice staff.
