Courier Driver – Job Description
Picking up parcels, packages, and documents from warehouses, depots, businesses, and customers.
Loading and unloading goods safely into delivery vans.
Planning efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.
Delivering items to residential and commercial customers promptly and safely.
Obtaining signatures and proof of delivery from recipients.
Checking delivery instructions, addresses, and package details for accuracy.
Maintaining delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle documentation.
Handling customer enquiries professionally and courteously.
Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance issues.
Valid driver’s licence.
Good driving record and knowledge of local routes.
Ability to lift and carry parcels and packages.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Basic communication and customer service skills.
Position: Full-Time Permanent
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely collection, transportation, and delivery of parcels, packages, and documents to residential and commercial customers while maintaining excellent customer service and complying with all company policies and road safety regulations.

Following company policies, traffic laws, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills and RequirementsValid driver’s licence.

Basic communication and customer service skills.
Ability to use GPS systems and delivery tracking devices.

Salary: NZD $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
