Mo Basharati Barber Limited trading as Fresh Barber Cuts Christchurch is currently looking for up to three motivated barbers to join their team based in Addington, Christchurch.

The role is permanent and full-time (we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week). Applicants must be available on weekends and public holidays as this is the busiest period of our work. The rate of pay offered is between $26 - $30 per hour.

We are open to employing junior, intermediate and experienced barbers. Applicants must have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience cutting hair in a commercial environment. If you are interested in barbering and wanting to learn, hit the apply now button!

The barber’s job duties are:

• Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.
• Cutting and trimming hair (with scissors clippers and razors) according to clients' instructions.
• Shaving trimming and using cut-throat razors on beards and moustaches.
• Cleaning work areas and equipment between haircuts.
• Booking appointments for clients (over the phone and walk-ins).
• Taking payments from customers.
