LiftX Ltd is a modern access equipment sales and service company specializing in all brands and types of elevating work platforms (EWPs) and access equipment. Our services include on-site breakdown assistance, general servicing, complete workshop repairs, and major inspection rebuilds.
A key part of our business involves fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
Due to our continued growth, we seek a new technician to join our Christchurch workshop team.
This position is ideal for an auto electrician seeking a change, a diesel or automotive mechanic with strong electrical diagnostic skills, or an EWP technician looking to expand their expertise.
** Requirements **
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:- At least 3 years of trade experience in an automotive or mechanical field
- Experience with hydraulic systems is preferred but not essential
- EWP/access equipment experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Proven diagnostic experience with 12/24 volt electrical systems is essential
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong customer focus
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- A full and current New Zealand driver’s license
- Self-motivation and a team-oriented mindset
