We are seeking a Social Worker who will add value,expertise and energy to this stable and cohesive team.Our motivated anddedicated team works collaboratively with a consumer centred approach.We pride ourselves on working as a team in collaboration andpartnership with consumers and family/whanau.
We strive to work within ourphilosophy to develop therapeutic, supportive and empowering relationships withconsumers, to enable them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.About YouIn this role, you will be:Involved in MDT assessments, treatment planning, reviews and discharge planning.Able to sustain professional boundaries and attend supervision to maintain empathetic care.Safeguarding patient rights, through holding a broad knowledge of legislationDevelop a good working knowledge of community and internal support services and government agencies that best meet patient and family/whanau needs.Developing a good understanding of the interface between Specialist Mental Health Services and other government agencies like, Department of Corrections and Ministry of Health.Skills and experienceThe ability to apply a social work perspective (frameworks, practice models) to understand a person
