About the RoleWorking under the direction and delegation of Nursing and Midwifery, the Health Care Assistant role contributes to supporting safe patient/tūroro/tangata whai ora care for patients/tūroro/tangata whai ora and whanau by assisting with delegated activities and supporting the maintenance of a safe, pleasant, functional environment as part of the healthcare delivery team.The primary purpose of the role is to work alongside your MOPD colleagues to support the delivery of patient/tūroro/tangata whai ora care, maintaining a safe, pleasant and functional environment.

About the Team/Service/LocationOur team of Cardiac Sonographers work within the Cardiology Service to provide non-invasive heart imaging (echocardiograms) to both inpatients and outpatients.
