Electrical Assistants

Trade Assist have an abundance of work available in the Marlborough region - We are currently looking for approx. 35 Electrical Assistants for a variety of projects specifically in the Marlborough area and are offering top dollar for the right people.

Permanent Full Time Position 30 hours per week

• 3 years' experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of H&S
• Experience in industrial or heavy commercial maintenance

• Complete scheduled program and fault find whilst carrying out checks to carry out break downs effectively;
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance response team and other key stakeholders across the business;
• Look for efficiencies and ways to continuously improve our ways of operating.
• Manage the site’s electrical control system, including maintenance, back up and reporting from software control systems (PLCs, iFix, micro scan, profibus and devicnet);
• Identify and implement enhancements to electrical systems and control systems;
• Lead and work collaboratively with the response team, ensuring staff are trained in all systems;
• Maintain and repair site electrical systems and machinery;
• Provide expert electrical advice to project teams and the broader site;
