About the Role
As a Junior to Intermediate Accountant, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of industries and client types. You will work with your own portfolio of clients and be responsible for all end to end processing.

Key responsibilities will include:- Preparing annual financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing income tax, GST, and FBT returns
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and provide guidance where needed
- Using a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB, and other cloud-based platforms
- Assisting with client queries and correspondence with Inland Revenue
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and is ready to take the next step in their accounting career.
Our ideal candidate will have:- 1–2 years’ experience working in a Chartered Accountants practice (preferred)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to concurrently undertake a multitude of tasks and to achieve multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and Excel
- A willingness to learn and engage with new technology and tools
- An interest or already started Chartered Accountants study
