Support Worker - Lower Hutt - Part - time
Part time – Minimum guaranteed hours - 20 hours per week.
Location: Lower Hutt, Wellington
Rescare is an independent contractor to the families who provides respite services for adults with intellectual disability, Mental health and Autism.

What We Expect from a Support Worker
Our team makes a real difference in the lives of our residents every day. As a Support Worker, your professionalism, combined with kindness and compassion, will be at the heart of everything you do.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain a wakeful watch to ensure the safety and security of our service users and the home.
- Provide support with personal care needs and offer companionship.
- Carry out light household duties, helping to keep the home and residents’ rooms clean and tidy, encouraging residents to be involved where appropriate.
- Sleepovers/ AM & PM shifts, Working Weekends. Part time can be discussed. Full NZ Driving License or working towards getting one.
- Experience in mental health will be an advantage
You may also be required to work in our Tawa/Porirua houses. Travel time and mileage will be reimbursed.

Competitive pay rates – You will earn between $23.50 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
