About the RoleThis position is open exclusively to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora staff only.As the Environmental Services Manager for Community & Rural Hospitals, you will play a key role in the critical daily delivery of food production for the Waikato rural hospitals, cafeteria and community.The role also collaborates with the senior leadership teams in identifying and implementing changes to service delivery and business processes.

About the Team/ServiceThe team consists of the dietary service teams at the rural hospital sites (Thames, Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui) as well as working alongside the operations managers and senior leadership teams in change management processes.

The team members are from a wide variety of disciplines and values the strengths of each other. About youAs an experienced manager of people and food services, you will have:Relevant demonstrated experience and qualifications in food service management and delivery.Ability to be flexible working in a dynamic environment while navigating multiple challenges.At least 5 years experience in operational management in a large and complex environment.Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process and service improvement in collaboration with key stakeholders.NZ Drivers license.
