About the business:

SRS is an experienced Automotive Smart Repair business specialising in paint/wheel repairs and refinishing, headlamp restoration, stone chip repairs, windscreen repairs, paintless dent removal and much more.

About the role:

We are looking for one experienced automotive car painter with minor body repair experience to join our cohesive team. The successful applicant will refinish body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory, dealership and insurance company quality specifications and time standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Repair orders with efficiency, accuracy and high quality in accordance with the outlined standards
  • Colour matching and independent decision making
  • Knowledge of techniques such as Pearls and Candys.
  • Ability to lead fellow technicians in the learning process and act as a mentor to new staff by embracing/promoting quality repairs as required. Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Able to efficiently communicate any changes and/or recommendations with internal and external customers
  • Able to document all work performed on with appropriate flag sheets and notes
  • Participating in ongoing training, certificates, events and any other such tasks
  • Understands and maintains a high standard of OSH standards
  • Immediately reports any safety issues to management
  • Communicate with walk-in customers.
The successful applicant must have:
  • 3 years experience in automotive painting and repairs.
  • Hold a neat, clean and professional appearance
  • Strong communication
  • Full driver's license and clean driving record or overseas equivalent.
  • Able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Willing to learn new skills
