Full Time Sales Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term full-time Sales Assistant to join our Pascoes team in Nelson, to cover maternity leave for approx 6+ months.
We work with our teams, guiding them toward success and we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service.
We're after someone with initiative, a strong customer service focus, and drive to achieve targets. Someone who is personable, punctual, and presents themselves professionally. Someone just like you!
Retail experience is preferred but not essential. We will provide you with training in product knowledge and give you the additional skills to be successful in your role.
Role Hours - 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
Fixed term contract will start approx end of March, and end around September. With the potential to extend for another 6 months.- Weekdays 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Saturday 9.30am to 4pm
The Role:
- Communicate effectively and contribute to the company's values and culture
- Achieve personal sales targets through excellence in customer service, and assisting in achieving store targets
- Demonstrate a willing "can-do" attitude, and support your team
- Focus on attention to detail, diligence, and maximising efficiency and time
- Understand and execute back-of-house paperwork and procedures
- Actively promote the store through in-store merchandising, displays, and other activities
