Vatsman - Hood and Duct Cleaner

Are you passionate about maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment? Our company is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Vatsman - Hood and Duct Cleaner. As a crucial member of our cleaning crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and vents in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any issues or potential hazards in the kitchen exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and any necessary repairs or replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at various commercial kitchen locations. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address any specific requirements or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in commercial kitchen hood and duct cleaning is preferred.
• 2 year work experience in commercial cleaning.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines related to kitchen exhaust cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Important Requirement:

• Willing to work night 11pm to early morning.
• Willing to work on weekends and on public holidays.
• If required willing to drive the company vehicle.
• Willing to go through drug-check test.
