Cash in Transit Security Officer - Dunedin

Skye Secure is a New Zealand owned security company on an exciting growth journey, scaling our operations nationally. We're now building out our Dunedin team and looking for a dedicated and professional Cash in Transit (CIT) Security Officer to be part of that journey.

About the Role

As a CIT Security Officer with Skye Secure, you'll be responsible for the safe and secure transportation of cash and valuables between businesses and financial institutions across the Dunedin region. This is a full-time role offering 40+ hours per week, and you'll need to be prepared for some longer shifts of up to 12 hours as the work demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, transport, and deliver cash and valuables securely to client locations
• Drive the cash van safely and responsibly across the Dunedin region
• Follow strict security protocols at all times
• Complete accurate documentation and reporting for each run
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of all client information
• Respond calmly and effectively to any security incidents
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure equipment is in good working order

• Valid Certificate of Approval (COA) issued by the New Zealand Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and confidence driving a cash van
• A clean criminal record and high level of personal integrity
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Good physical fitness — the role involves lifting and carrying
• Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work early starts, varying shifts, and longer days when required
• A team player who can stay calm and focused under pressure
