About the RoleAn opportunity has arisen to join our Child Development Centre team working within a small team of administrators. The team covers a wide range of tasks including processes relating to patient bookings, providing patient enquiry service via phone and email, front line customer service at reception and administrative support for clinics.

About the TeamThe Child Development Centre is a child-centred and family-focused disability service for children who have, or are suspected of having, developmental problems that may lead to a disability.
The centre has a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech language therapists, social workers, developmental paediatricians, visiting neurodevelopmental therapists, developmental service coordinators and administrators.
The team provide comprehensive assessments and intervention for children identified with a disability. About youAs the first point of contact for our clients, you will display your exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
Along with your general administration duties, you will also support the manager design effective admin processes; take active part in quality improvement initiatives and admin projects for the service. You will:Have a confident, calm nature and feel comfortable working under pressure and solving problems.Be proficient managing databases, organised, efficient and able to prioritise their workload effectivelyEnjoy implementing and improving systems and processes.Be exceptional at customer service via the telephone with excellent interpersonal skills.Be resourceful and flexible to service needs.Have a genuine passion for working with children and their whānau.Ideally you will have previous work experience of a minimum of 2 years in a health setting.
