The International Antarctic Centre is looking for an experienced F&B Team Leader to assist our guests by delivering an exceptional customer experience and motivate the team to do the same. We need someone who takes pride in their work, can prioritise tasks, communicate well and can lead a successful team through support, training and positivity!

What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage team, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient service delivery
- Roster and schedule staff to effectively meet business demands
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs to maximise profitability
- Develop sales and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth
- Ensure consistent high standards of food preparation, presentation and service
- Provide hands-on leadership and training to the food and beverage team
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Foster a positive and productive team culture
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar team leader or supervisory role within a hospitality environment
- Barista experience
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong attention to detail and a talent for problem-solving
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting
- Knowledge of food safety and liquor licensing regulations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
