Coronial Mortuary Technician
Communio is a medium-sized company providing coronial post-mortem services across the Wellington region.

We are seeking a Coronial Mortuary Technician to join our small but dedicated team based in Lower Hutt.
The ideal candidate will hold the NZIMLS qualification in Mortuary Practice and a current Annual Practicing Certificate, however we are willing to provide full training and support towards gaining the necessary qualification to the right applicant who demonstrates the right skills, attitude, and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pathologists in conducting coronial post-mortem examinations.
- Ensure accurate documentation, specimen handling, and chain of custody.
- Maintain high standards of mortuary hygiene, health, and safety.
- Provide respectful and dignified care of the deceased.
- Operate and maintain mortuary equipment.
- Contribute to audits, quality systems, and compliance with accreditation and organisational standards.
- Commitment to upholding the values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Hours of work: Mon-Fri 0800-1630 with additional on call duties
