Since launching our first Mitre 10 store in Warkworth in 2009, Riviera Hardware Holdings has grown to become one of the largest group within the Mitre 10 network. Our stores in Albany, New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparaoa, and Silverdale all include Columbus Coffee cafés, and we also operate our own Distribution Centre and Frame & Truss Manufacturing Plant.
Our Warkworth café is a favorite spot for locals – a great space where people come together to relax, refuel, and connect over great food and award-winning coffee.- About the Role
- Generous staff purchase scheme at select Columbus Cafés and Mitre 10 stores
- No night shifts – café hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm

- Based in Warkworth – must live locally
Ara Hills, Hatfield's Beach, Kaipara Flats, Leigh, Mahurangi East/West, Makarau, Matakana, Omaha, Pakiri, Point Wells, Sandspit, Snells Beach, Ti Point, Whangateau, or Whangaripo. Applicants outside of these areas will not be considered.
- What You'll Bring
- At least 2 years previous cooking or baking experience (ideally in a café)
- Understanding of Food Control Plans (FCP) and Health & Safety requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen (preferred)
- Flexible availability – able to work at least 1 weekend day (Saturday preferred) and public holidays
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for food and café culture
