We have exciting opportunities for a Field Service Technician and a workshop based Technician to become part of our high-performing team in Cambridge. As a Service Technician at GAZ, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of cutting-edge machinery, including Case IH, New Holland, Giltrap Engineering, Manitou, and Hustler to name a few. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and servicing tractors, harvesting equipment, and farm machinery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Diagnosing and fault-finding using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Providing exceptional customer service while working independently in the field or as part of the workshop team.
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship, including accurate reporting and paperwork completion.
- Problem-solving and taking a methodical approach to each task.
- Keeping up with training and developing expertise in modern tractor systems and electronics.
- Service work experience, preferably with agricultural tractors and machinery.
- Qualified diesel/heavy machinery Technician.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to use diagnostic equipment (training provided on new systems).
- A customer-centric approach and the ability to deliver high-level service.
- Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and maturity in handling tasks.
- Experience with forage harvesters is a bonus but not essential.
