Business Development Manager

We’re on the hunt for a highly driven, results-focused Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

With strong growth underway, we’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on individual with painting industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment—where no two days are the same.

About the Role

This is a true new business development role—not account management. You’ll be out in the market identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new clients across the Auckland region.

You’ll take a proactive, solution-selling approach, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Driving sales growth through proactive prospecting and client acquisition

Building strong, long-term relationships across commercial sectors

Attending networking events and representing the business professionally

Confidently measuring and scoping projects for quoting (training provided)

Preparing and presenting tailored proposals, quotes, and tenders

Proven success in solution selling and winning new business

Confidence to identify, approach, and convert new opportunities

Strong relationship-building and influencing skills

Self-motivation, initiative, and a drive to continuously improve

Painting industry experience (preferred)
