  • shealth and will enjoy carrying out the role alongside our current CNS/LeadColposcopy Nurse for the service.
Supporting the rest of the clinical team in colposcopy,facilitating clinics, triaging referrals, managing, and supporting patients toattend their appointments, attending multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs),facilitating care pathways and collaborating with primary cervical screeningprogrammes, are all key functions of the role.You will be part of a team who is highly motivated toprovide an excellent standard of care that is patient centric, and that whichis designed to reduce inequity and meet the needs of our community.

  • s Hospital provides care to over 5000 women a year.About youThis is a wonderful opportunity for a nurse wanting to growand develop a service that is passionate about women
  • s health.
You will beworking alongside the lead doctor to lead a multidisciplinary team, providingcolposcopy and hysteroscopy services.
You will also collaborate with members ofour senior nursing and management teams to develop and improve care deliveryacross the service.
You will be expected to collaborate with communityproviders such as cervical screening and our Kaupapa Māori providers to helpimprove access and reduce inequities in women
  • s health.
An experienced registered nurse with knowledge and skills in gynaecology, with preferably experience in colposcopy and hysteroscopy.Currently hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate qualification in Nursing.Proven leadership skills, with the ability to be a specialist resource nurse for patients, and other clinicians.Knowledge and experience in quality and change management Has a passion for Women
  • s Health and have a comprehensive understanding of the health inequities that exist in women
  • s health, with a will to mitigate these.

Motivated, adaptable, flexible, and solution focussed.Able to use technology efficiently (e.g., excel, databases) Work well in a team as well as autonomouslyRegistered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
