Job Title: Carpenter
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials, dimensions & installation procedures
- Select correct timbers and materials
- Prepare the layout of the project
- Cut timber, materials, assemble and install parts
- Erect frames and trusses
- Install wallboards and floorboards
- Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
- Verify trueness of structure
- Interior lining and finish
- Inspect places and conduct repairs, maintenance, or renovations
- Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations
- Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform
Guaranteed hours of work per week: permanent full time， Minimum 30 hours
Requirements for the job:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Be physically fit and healthy
- Full time availability
- No criminal record
- Candidates need to be NZ citizen/residen
