Experienced Atom Sprayer & Machinery operator - ref. g25027903

You will report directly to the Senior Machinery & Spray Services Team Leader. This role requires flexibility, especially during seasonal peaks, including some weekend work.

• Applying crop protection sprays.
• Maintaining our fleet and machinery.
• Operating trucks and other equipment as required.
• Keep the spray shed tidy and Zespri GAP compliant.
• Clean up spills immediately and maintain all safety gear.
• Use Onside when onsite and report hazards promptly.
• Keep spray signage up to date.
• Communicate clearly with management and team members.
• Ensure accurate spray records for diary input.
• Understand and follow Zespri compliance requirements.
• Apply crop protection sprays according to seasonal and crop-specific needs.
• Operate and maintain machinery.
• Use of Health & safety app (onsite).

• Be flexible with working hours and available on weekends when required.
• Thrive in both team environments and working independently.
• Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Remain calm under pressure and be confident in problem-solving.
• Be computer literate and comfortable with digital systems.
• Hold a Grow safe certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
• Have minimum 2 years’ experience operating horticultural machinery.
• A Class 2 driver’s license is beneficial.
