The Job:We require a full-time permanent, Aviation Aircraft Refueller, to be based at Dunedin airport. We operate 7 days a week, so you will work on a rotating shift roster including some weekend work.
We are looking for a team player, yet someone also comfortable with their own company. While there are other colleagues on site, the role also enjoys a high level of autonomy. You will need to be physically fit to undertake this role.
The position holds a high level of responsibility, which apart from the crucial delivery of aviation fuels and working to strict company and legislative regulations, it also includes operational functions associated with vehicles and depot maintenance, work preparation and documentation.The position requires a sound knowledge of safe work practices, quality control and a high level of professionalism.
The successful candidate will adhere to all required standards of legislation and health & safety guidelines relating to this role, including a minimum of 200 hours of training before you can commence working and delivering the fuel to the aircraft.
- You will hold a current New Zealand Heavy Truck, class 4 license.
- A Dangerous Goods endorsement would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
- You will be used to driving heavy vehicles and have several years’ experience in doing so.
- You will be fit and healthy and happy to undertake a full medical examination including a hearing and drug test. * As you will be working airside on the airport, a police check and Aviation Security services check is a mandatory requirement.

Key skills for this role:
