Our Energy and Utilities business is seeking an experienced Power Technician to join our team based in Palmerston North. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will work, providing specialist technical protection and SCADA systems maintenance and installation to the company's Generation Customers

**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
  • Relevant EWRB Electrical Registration and current Practising licence
  • NZCE Level 5 Power Technician or Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Experience with the maintenance and installation of Protection, SCADA and communication equipment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sub stations, Power Stations, Power systems, particularly related to the HV industry.
  • Expert knowledge in the dangers and consequences of incidents in a substation/switchyard environment.
  • Full NZ Class 1 Driver's License
