As Director
  • Governance, you will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of governance frameworks across Kāinga Ora
  • Homes and Communities.You will be a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and Board and facilitate effective relationships with key external Government and political stakeholders including Ministers' offices, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and other partner agencies.This role offers an opportunity to shape a governance model that supports a complex and evolving public service organisation committed to improving housing outcomes for Aotearoa.Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
  • What you will bring Proven senior leadership experience leading highly skilled, high performing and engaged teams in a complex and demanding environment A deep understanding of the machinery of Government, and strong experience working with Ministers, monitoring and central agencies and their Offices A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field, with an advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CPA, or governance certification) preferred Proven ability to lead through complexity and manage emerging risks with thoughtful long-term thinking An understanding of partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi Strong relationship-building skills Nōu te rourou
