About the roleA rewarding opportunity has emerged for a highly motivated expert cardiology nurse interested in Electrophysiology (EP) to join our Surgical and Cardiology Resource Nursing team.
As an integral member of our multidisciplinary cardiology team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) plays a pivotal role in supporting patients through EP care. This includes managing inpatient waitlists, triage, coordinating care planning and delivering education for both elective and acute EP patients.

Our goal is to ensure that patients and their whanau are fully informed, supported, and prepared for their procedures.Our Clinical Nurse Specialist- EP run a nurse leads nurse atrial fibrillation (AF) clinics. This is a collaborative model between emergency medicine and primary care for the timely and effective management of AF patients, improving outcomes and streamlining care pathways.We are seeking to expand this initiative, offering the successful candidate the unique opportunity to contribute meaningful to its development and future direction.
