Mayfield Transport, a well established, family owned transport company based in the Mayfield Village, 32 kms inland from Ashburton are seeking a spreader operator for our near new Isuzu FTS800 4WD spreader (Class 2 license required) and Isuzu CYZ400 6-wheeler and 4 x axle trailer (Class 5 licence required)

This role would suit either a keen class 2 licence holder looking to progress with our assistance through to class 5 or a current class 5 driver happy to operate both units as required.

Applicants that are looking for a full-time permanent role or an ongoing fixed term role with the winter months off will be considered.

Some experience and local knowledge would be an advantage but if you are a willing learner then ongoing training will be available. All trucks operate Trac Map farm mapping and on-board electronic controllers, so your ability to embrace and understand technology will be important.

Being a rural based business, the Mayfield team work closely together, there are occasions when other divisions need help, so applicants need to be flexible and willing to help out in other areas when and if required. Living within a 30km distance to Mayfield would be advantageous.
