You will focus on expanding clean-energy opportunities across the North Island by developing new business and strengthening existing relationships with council and commercial clients. The role includes guiding clients through the sales process, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the Auckland Project Manager with project scoping and solution planning.

With strong growth in Auckland and an established client base, they are seeking a driven BDM to expand their presence across the North Island.
About the role:You will focus on expanding clean-energy opportunities across the North Island by developing new business and strengthening existing relationships with council and commercial clients. The role includes guiding clients through the sales process, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the Auckland Project Manager with project scoping and solution planning.
This is a client-facing role with a strong strategic and consultative focus. Light travel may be required.
Key responsibilities:- Developing new business in solar, battery, and clean-energy markets
- Managing and growing an existing pipeline across council and commercial clients
- Working with the Auckland Project Manager on project scoping and proposals
- Leading senior-level sales meetings and presenting tailored solutions
- Building long-term partnerships and strategic alliances
- Travelling within the region when needed
- Strong, established network across renewable energy sectors
- Proven business development or sales experience
- Self-starter with ambition and confidence
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine passion for renewable energy and the client’s vision
