Automotive Apprentice

Bay of Islands Auto One Ltd is a member of the “Bosch Car Service” network, a “Goodyear Auto Service Centre” and the “Isuzu Utes Authorised Dealer” for Kerikeri.

We currently have a full time Automotive Apprentice position for the right person to join our busy workshop.

We are looking for somebody who is flexible and happy to help out where required in a varied role, with a sense of humour and can do attitude.

• Have completed 220 or more credits and working towards completing Light Automotive Engineering (L4)
• Hold a current and clean full class 1 NZ drivers’ licence
• Have experience servicing and repairing different makes and models of vehicles
• Be computer literate
• Be prepared to attend training courses with “ Bosch Car Service Master Tech” and ”Isuzu Utes Certified Service Technician”
• Be prepared to listen to instructions and follow procedures
• Have the ability to work unsupervised
• Have a high standard of personal presentation and tidy work habits
• Have a good command of the English language, both written and oral
• Be able to pass a pre-employment health check and drug test.
