Sawmill Cleaner
We are currently recruiting for a Sawmill Cleaner to assist with our sawmill operations in Dannevirke. The key purpose of this role is to remove sawdust/particles from the Sawmill equipment and machine centres.
The role has a direct impact on our production levels and quality and therefore plays an important part in the overall success of the mill.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 4.30pm to 1.00am, with some flexibility around start and finish times, approx 40 hours per week. An indicative pay range for this role is $23.50 - $26.50 depending on experience.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:Previous experience isn’t necessary as you’ll receive full training. However, experience in a production environment with machinery would be advantageous. You’ll need to be physically fit, self-motivated, able to follow procedures, work autonomously and reliable.
You will also have a strong focus on ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times. Sound comprehension skills will also be required.
