Machine Operator - Hastings
What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing of blow molding and filling machines.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing corrective actions to minimise downtime.
Work closely with the production team to coordinate equipment servicing and optimise production flow.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repair activities.
Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to production operators.
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Blow Molding and/or Filling Machine Technician, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret technical diagrams.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance procedures and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to support collaboration with production and engineering teams.
A vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is desirable.
