Labourer / Workshop Technician

Trade Assist is seeking 5 skilled labourers to join a workshop workflow in one of NZ's largest engineering companies based in Penrose! This will be a hands-on role where we need someone who is good with tools, has a good mathematics understanding, and gets the job done with a measure twice, cut once attitude.

• Assist with manufacturing and assembling copper coils to specification.
• Operate vacuum and resin equipment safely and accurately.
• Follow technical drawings, measurements, and written instructions.
• Use workshop tools and machinery to support daily production tasks.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness across all work areas.

• Workshop, labouring, or manufacturing experience with basic tool skills.
• Able to read instructions, follow diagrams, and work with measurements.
• Basic understanding of physics or electrical/mechanical concepts is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
• NZ resident or valid work visa and able to complete the competency assessment.
