Security & Rural Fencing Installer
Paeroa
We are based in Te Kauwhata and service the Waikato and Auckland Regions
Key Duties- Install security fencing systems including chainlink, palisade, welded mesh panel systems, power fence, barbed wire and razor wire
- Install rural fencing including post and wire, batten fencing, deer fencing and electric fencing
- Install gates, gate hardware and associated fittings
- Measure and set out fence lines according to site plans
- Operate post drivers, augers, compactors, hand tools and power tools
- Mix and place concrete for fence posts
- Load, transport and unload fencing materials
- Perform fence repairs and maintenance
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in fencing, farming, agricultural work or general construction
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in fencing, construction, or a related trade
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour
- Full Class 1 driver licence or Restricted License
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- No serious criminal convictions that would prevent site access
