All Round 1-on-1 Private Caregiver

About the Role

I am a 32-year-old woman who leads a very busy and active life. However, I am unable to talk, walk or use my hands. This is where you come in - I am looking for enthusiastic and supportive caregivers to make my days run as smoothly as possible.

Available Hours:
  • 5:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. two mornings a week, including a Wednesday. '
  • 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

I am also open to 12-hour shifts, e.g. 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m on a Monday or Friday / 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on a Wednesday.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including feeding, toileting, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Make me look and feel my best.
  • Be on hand to provide physical support throughout the day.
  • Assist with errands and household tasks, including groceries and laundry.
  • Help with social media and technology as needed.
  • Provide transport using your own vehicle - you'll be reimbursed for petrol!
What you need:
  • A sense of humour as well as common sense.
  • The ability to read the room, knowing when I need some space and knowing when I need support.
  • The ability to be self-sufficient and entertain yourself while I work on my own thing, but also can be social and amongst the action when required.
  • The ability to handle unexpected situations with a certain amount of grace.
  • A full driving license, a car and patience for Auckland traffic.
  • Caring Attitude: Laid-back but professional, with a knack for creating a calm but fun environment.
  • A willingness to learn and experiment.
  • New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand residency or a New Zealand working visa.
