We’re FIRST Security, one of New Zealand’s market leaders in security, and we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in Kerikeri.
About the Role:This part-time position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to community safety and security. As a Mobile Patrols /Noise Control /NCR Officer, you will be integral to maintaining order and security across assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Mobile Patrols: Conduct security checks on client properties and staff via assigned driving routes, respond to alarms, and support other officers. Requires a competent driver; company vehicles are GPS/camera-equipped for safety.
Noise Control: Investigate and resolve noise complaints, ensuring compliance with bylaws through engagement, warnings, or liaison with authorities.NCR (ATM Support): Maintain New Zealand's ATM fleet by deploying in a company car to Auckland sites to troubleshoot and resolve errors like money/printer jams, card reader faults, and technical computer issues.

About the role:
- Hours of work – 4 on 4 off rotation 18:00 - 06:00
- Pay rate is $24.00 per hour
- Must have Full NZ drivers license
- Full and ongoing Training provided

What we need you to have:

- Excellent people and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
- Be confident in managing and resolving conflict
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
- Be able to work individually or as part of a team
- Have excellent personal presentation
- A clean current Full NZ Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
- A COA license or the ability to obtain one (we can assist you with this!)
