We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving surface preparation and the application of paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes on a variety of interior and exterior surfaces.
Location: Christchurch New Zealand
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes
- Apply paint and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Interpret plans and specifications to meet project requirements
- Work safely and maintain a clean job site
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a painter or relevant trade qualification
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and time management skills
- Understanding of health and safety practices
