School Caretaker

This is a varied, hands-on role focusing on keeping our facilities safe, operational, and well-maintained.
- Handyman Tasks: Carry out minor repairs, touch-up painting, and day-to-day maintenance.
- Proactive Care: Spot and fix minor wear-and-tear issues early.
- School Events: Help set up spaces and equipment for assemblies and events.
- Contractor Liaison: Act as the friendly first point of contact for external tradespeople.
- Practical handyperson skills (carpentry, painting, and tool safety).
- Great communication skills and a collaborative, people-focused attitude.
- Self motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised.
- Take pride in your work and have great attention to detail
- Physically fit and safety-conscious.
- Note: A clean NZ driver’s license is preferred, and the successful applicant must pass a standard Police Vet.

- Paid in accordance with the School Caretakers' Collective Agreement (including standard sick and annual leave).
