About the Role Health New Zealand is seeking a Recruitment Operations and Performance Lead to drive the collation and storytelling of our national recruitment activity. This is your opportunity to make a real impact - bringing together data from districts and disparate systems to create a unified narrative of what we're recruiting and why.
In this role, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing critical data and insights to support responses to Official Information Act (OIA) requests, Select Committee briefings, and Ministerial queries. Your leadership will influence the effective connection of talent to key roles, thereby supporting the ongoing progress of our health system and the communities we serve.
About you This role offers a chance to help transform recruitment in Health NZ. You will help shape our workforce insights and lead a team spread across Aotearoa, working closely with stakeholders. You will be leading a small team of technical experts located across the country, so being comfortable with virtual leadership is essential.
As a member of the Recruitment Leadership Team reporting to the GM Recruitment and Attraction, you will collaborate with recruitment and HR leads to ensure data accuracy and effectively communicate insights. You will serve as the subject matter expert in recruitment technologies, assessing current capabilities, identifying gaps, and driving strategic improvements and system change.
You will also lead the development and ongoing refinement of recruitment quality and performance measures, using data and insights to identify improvement opportunities, embed consistent national ways of working, and build a culture of continuous improvement across recruitment teams.
In addition, you will contribute to People & Culture initiatives by enhancing recruitment practices and act as a senior delegate for the GM Recruitment and Attraction when required.
