Class 5 Truck Driver with Tractor Experience

CMC Recycling is seeking a proactive, reliable, and customer-focused Class 5 Truck Driver with optional HiAb experience (full training would be provided). Currently based out of Pukerau Yard, long term will be within a 20km radius of Pukerau.
The primary responsibility of the role will be driving our Plasback Iveco Tracker Truck and Trailer on scheduled runs across various locations, including Southland, South Otago, and Southern parts of Central Otago. The key task will be collecting on-farm recycling.From time to time, there may be a requirement to drive a Tractor which would include Trailer work and Raking, also, you may be required to drive a Ute with a large recovery trailer for picking up bulky light recyclables
Key Responsibilities- Capable operator of Heavy Truck and Trailer combination, Tractors and implements, Utes with long length trailers.
- Be proactive and manage daily responsibilities efficiently.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with both farm clients and team members.
- Learn and contribute to the recycling business, supporting various aspects as required.
- Proficient with using a Tablet as all our recording systems are Cloud based. Training will be provided.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with HiAb experience would be beneficial.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a changing environment.
- Great self-management skills, with the ability to plan your day efficiently.
