This work will be within the Maternity unit labour and birthing, postnatal, womens assessment clinic and antenatal clinic.Shifts will be Monday to Sunday shifts are morning and afternoonsOur team is focused on providing excellent quality care and we are committed to improving the experience of patients and their whanau.Maternity is a unique environment, and the HCA role reflects this.

Our team supports people experiencing a wide range of maternity and obstetric needs from normal vaginal births and pregnancy assessments to baby loss and acute emergencies. This role works closely with the midwifery team on the ward, offering clinical support and delivering whānaucentred care.For more information on living and working in Taranaki click hereAbout youWe are looking for an HCA that is motivated and can work autonomously, has excellent interpersonal skills as well as being able to adapt and be flexible within their work environment.
You will need to have amazing team working skills and be willing to help out where the need arises.
