Now, we’re looking for one or two motivated, hands-on legends to join our crew in the roles of:
Woodfire Installation & Service Technician
Installation / Project Manager
What’s the job like?No two days are the same. One day you might be installing a sleek gas fire in a high-end new build, the next you could be restoring an old woodburner in a classic villa, and the next you’re building an outdoor kitchen for a coastal holiday home.
You’ll be problem-solving on site, working closely with customers, and making sure every job is completed to the highest standard.
Who will suit the role?
Plumbers, roofers, builders, and other skilled tradies will feel right at home.
Practical, technically minded people with a “let’s get it done” attitude will thrive.
You don’t need fireplace experience — we’ll give you the training — but you do need to bring pride in your work and a willingness to learn.
What you’ll need to bring:- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Confidence working at heights
- Competitive pay package that rewards your skill and effort
- Full industry training and NZHHA-recognised certifications
- iPhone for work & personal use (or contribution to your own plan)
- A fun, social team that works hard and celebrates wins (and yes, we love fishing trips!)
- Variety — you’ll work on premium projects in a mix of residential and commercial settings
- Security & growth — be part of a trusted, established business with a reputation for excellence

Your next career move could be the one that keeps you warm all year round. ??
