Tender Writer

You will work closely with estimators, engineers, project managers, and senior leaders to gather information and deliver polished submissions on time.

• Lead the preparation of tender and proposal submissions.
• Interpret tender documents, including scope, evaluation criteria, and contract conditions (e.g., NZS3910 and government procurement rules).
• Write, edit, and format content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to gather accurate and compelling information.
• Ensure all submissions meet deadlines and client requirements.
• Maintain and update templates, standard content, and supporting documents.
• Contribute to bid strategies to improve win rates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience preparing tenders or proposals in New Zealand civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive written content.
• Excellent written English and strong editing skills.
• Understanding of NZ standard civil contracts (e.g., NZS 3910) and government procurement processes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
